The FCC website shows that new LPFM station applications have been received this month from the following 5 organizations in the greater Madison area, all applying for different frequencies:

The FCC granted the First Unitarian Society of Madison the construction permit for their LPFM station on 2/19.

Approval 4

The FCC granted the Madison Christian Low Power FM construction permit on 2/12. Their site is in Monona.

Black Earth LPFM

Elsewhere in Dane County, on 2/3/14 the FCC approved a construction permit for a new low power station in Black Earth for Mazomanie Music Conservancy Limited.

Approvals 2 & 3

The Lussier Community Education Center application was granted 1/28/14 and the Sun Prairie Community Foundation application was granted 1/27/14.

As of 1/15/14 the City of Monona application is listed as "granted."

FCC status

As of early December all 5 applications above are listed by the FCC as "accepted for filing."
